We were proud to be awarded our seventh project with Lee Evans at Dulwich Prep London. This extensive remodelling was executed while the school was live, during which time the music department remained fully functioning. This involved out-of-hours working and careful programming to ensure that no one was unduly disturbed.

 

During the build process we became aware of an issue that could have affected the building – the discovery of bats and some bird eggs. Coleman & James took great lengths to ensure that these were protected.

 

The music block extension design greatly enhanced the existing space, the final outcome exceeding the client’s expectation and providing a pleasurable, useful space.
