Newton Place Surgery is a project that extended the existing NHS GP practice to keep up with future demands.

Like many practices within the NHS North Kent Coast CCG, Newton Place Surgery itself under continuing pressure to keep up with the increasing demand on its vital services.

 

Coleman & James worked closely with the practice’s partnership and facilities representatives from the NHS, and the architect Urban & Rural to harmoniously extend the existing surgery and to allow the practice to run and operate throughout the build.

 

The project provides additional treatment rooms, minor operation services, pharmacy and an urgent care service; releasing much needed pressure on our hospitals’ A&E departments.

 

The scheme is fully compliant with the NHS’s Health Building Note, HBN design guidance for healthcare buildings.
